ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ Releases 2022 Annual Report
The ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ (ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄) today presents its 2022 Annual Report. The report, titled βConquering the New Normal Together,β shares how the ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ successfully overcame pandemic-era challenges to further its state-based agenda.
In 2022, the ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ enhanced connectivity among its staff and Members, leaned forward on emerging issues, accelerated investments in technology, and rallied its internal team. The ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ achieved all of this while helping Members protect consumers and remain solvent. The report details accomplishments in these areas.
The ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ released the report during the 2023 Spring National Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky.
ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ the ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄
As part of our state-based system of insurance regulation in the United States, the ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ (ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄) provides expertise, data, and analysis for insurance commissioners to effectively regulate the industry and protect consumers. The U.S. standard-setting organization is governed by the chief insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. Through the ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄, state insurance regulators establish standards and best practices, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate regulatory oversight. ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ staff supports these efforts and represents the collective views of state regulators domestically and internationally.
