鶹ԭ President Lindley-Myers Honored as a 'DE&I Trailblazer'

Today, during the Bermuda Business Development Agency’s (BDA) second annual Bermuda Risk Summit, 鶹ԭ President and Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance Director Chlora Lindley-Myers was honored as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Trailblazer, along with Government of Bermuda Acting Financial Secretary Cheryl Ann Lister. The Premier of Bermuda, the Hon. E. David Burt, JP, MP, presented the awards.

The Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR), EY, and Gallagher Re are partnering with BDA to hold the Summit.

“As ABIR celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2023, we wanted to recognise Chlora Lindley-Myers as the first woman of colour in 152 years to be elected 鶹ԭ President. Of course, we could not let this moment pass without also recognising local hero Cheryl Ann Lister, who was appointed Chair and CEO of Bermuda’s integrated financial services regulator, the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), back in 2002,” said ABIR CEO John Huff in a press release about the event.
